Hola!
Wow, this week was both eventful and uneventful. We left Tuesday (Martes) to go to Concepción for my first Return and Report . The bus ride is 5 hours, but was good.
Then this weekend we prepared for our investigator Manuel´s baptism! Crazy, we had planned to have his baptism August 5th but his family wanted him to be baptized on his birthday, which was yesterday the 30th. We had his baptism at 9am and started church at 10 like usual. It was a fast baptism, but went well and Manuel felt happy and all was well :)
What I learned this week: Even when I don't feel good, I'm still a representante (representative) of Jesus Christ and keep going in the work!
Hard this week: Still feeling sick, but getting the care I needed and still finding the good out of the hard times.
Good things this week: Return and Report, being able to see the hermanas I entered the CCM with, getting the care I needed, and witnessing my first baptism here.
Escritura: 2 Nephi 4:20 has been the scripture that has helped me a lot this week.
My investigators are slowly progressing, still need a lot of prayers for Ivo, Lucas, Patricia, Katerine, Santos, and Familia Salazar, Suazo and Aravena.
I´m so happy to hear you are all doing great, enjoying the activities and summer fun!
Jake! That's sooo cool, I love you very much and Manuel was the only kid I've been teaching.
Con Amor,
Hermana Gourley
