Wow what a week!
Last week we started having lessons again with Isamar, and helping her prepare for her baptism this Saturday! We had another service day in Lincon-Ray( another sector in Temuco) and cleared out a members undercover patio and backyard. We also had another mini Capilla abierta or Open Chapel where we go contact and give tours of the Stake Center. The other Hermanas (Abalos and Lopez) had their investigator Camila´s baptism this last Saturday! We´ve had almost every night a Family Home Evening with members, which has been great to hear their testimonies and how they recieved the Gospel. For the 18th celebrations, we ate sooo many Empanadas-Cheese, Piña(meat, onions, boiled egg, and olives) Sopaipillas with Pebre, Grilled meat, Pajaritos (round bread with cool whip on top) and Alfajores(two peices of pastry crust with manjar in the middle ). Also, we´ve finally learned the national anthem of Chile, so we´ve been singing it pretty much everywhere we go!
We´ve been talking alot about being Fishers of Men, and how our Bishop has asked us for this cambio to work a lot with the members, we have seen the fruits of that with Isamar, what a miracle! I know that Heavenly Father knows the desires of our hearts, and when we put our trust in His timing, things work out. Planting seeds is part of this wonderful work, and I´m soo grateful to be apart of it.
xoxo
